JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Purpose:
Yayasan Chow Kit is looking for a teacher for our home schooling to carry out professional duties and to have responsibility for an assigned class. He/she will be responsible for the day-to-day work and management of the class and the safety and welfare of the pupils, during on-site and off-site activities.
Responsibilities:
- To identify, select and develop a suitable curricular based on the current Ministry of Education curriculum as to meet the needs of the students with varying backgrounds, learning styles and special needs.
- To implement instructional activities that contributes to a climate where students are actively engaged in the learning process.
- To establish effective rapport with students.
- To motivate students to develop skills, attitudes and knowledge needed in accordance with each student’s ability.
- The applicant will be a motivated individual with a keen interest in encouraging and inspiring students to love learning and excel in the subject area of English.
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma in Education/Teaching/Training or equivalent.
- Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English.
- At least 1 year of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Required skill(s): Communication Skill, Inter Personal Skill, Presentation Skill.
- Applicant must be a motivated individual with keen interest in encouraging and inspiring student to love learning and excel in all subject.
- Preferably candidate who can teach English, Bahasa Melayu, Mathematic and Art for student in Standard 4 up to Form 3.
- Have a passion for working with vulnerable children in a social care environment.
- Candidate must be flexible and willing to work during the weekend / overnight when necessary.
- 1 Full Time position available.
