1. EXECUTIVE, CREDIT MONITORING
JOB DESCRIPTION
To carry responsibilities to assist Department and Division to achieve their KPIs set through concerted efforts in managing financing asset quality by monitoring the business and financing performances of customers, maximizing collections through dunning activities, negotiations and legal means. In addition, to ensure the efficiency of credit management works such as accounts monitoring, rehabilitation and recovery efforts.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitor payment and business performance of all performing, PNPF and NPF Term Financing accounts including micro financing of SPKF and BIT and accounts.
- Maximise collection and recovery of all the above financings.
- Administer payment from customer via online debit, current dated and post-dated cheques as well as cash deposits and thereafter to provide Accounts Department with the information for reconciliation.
- Conduct collection activities such as; follow-up calls, specific SMS blasts, written reminders, meetings and site visitations.
- To make at least 20 calls per day and those calls to be reported and updated in client diary.
- Identify delinquent accounts for R & R.
- Review and identify appropriate strategies for recovery of PNPF and NPF accounts for settlement of arrears/amount outstanding and secure written proposals and supporting documents for Rescheduling & Restructuring (R&R) from the customers.
- Produce credit paper to Management Committee/Management Investment Committee/Directors Investment Committee/Board of Director for approval or rejection in relation to customers’ request relating to financing rehabilitation.
- To ensure each copy of credit papers and decision sheets are scanned and save inside shared folder (based on agenda of meetings).
- Issue Letter of Offer and to make sure the customer to execute new security documents upon compliance of restructuring/debt settlement terms.
- Monitor compliance of terms & conditions of R&R accounts.
- Verify half yearly statement of account and as and when requested to by customers.
- Follow-up on submission of sales report, P&L account/management account, audited financial from the customers for review.
- Proceed with issuance of reminders and recall letters to PNPF and NPF accounts.
- Proceed with instruction to solicitors to issue Notice of Demand and litigate for recovery, if necessary.
- To follow-up with solicitors on the updates of legal actions.
- Add or change and monitor the FRS 139 judgemental parameter on monthly basis.
- Identify and upload delinquent and NPF accounts to RAM Credit Info Sdn. Bhd.
- Ensure MRTA and general takaful are subscribed especially for rescheduled or restructured accounts.
- Produce any reports related to franchise financing and its sales as and when required.
- Perform any other duties ad-hoc basis and when instructed to.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor Degree in Finance and Accountancy.
- Credit Management, Debt Recovery, Legal, Credit Risk Evaluation skills are essential.
- At least 2-3 years of working experience in the related field
- Must be able to evaluate business proposals and work under pressure and tight deadlines.
- Good report writing and communication skills.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- To provide supportive role to other Divisions.
- To maintain good relationship with internal and external customers.
- A good team player, aggressive with positive attitude.
