JOB DESCRIPTION
The Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) welcomes graduates who are looking for a challenging career in the communications and multimedia industry to apply as trainees in its Trainee Officer Programme (TOP). MCMC TOP is a part of our extensive human capital development programme to build a pool of dynamic young officers serving in MCMC’s workforce.

What is TOP?
TOP is a 6 month-programme designed to groom local fresh graduates who are passionate to start a career in the communications and multimedia industry. Successful applicants shall be trained in following area:-
- Network Security and Enforcement
- Spectrum and Numbering Management
- Licensing and Economic Regulation
- Communication and Digital Ecosystem
- Business Administration and Management or other related fields.
Duration
- Structured Development Programme (1 month)
- On the Job Training (1.5 month)
- Placement and Assessment (3.5 months)
Eligibility Criteria
- Malaysian fresh graduates and entry level applicants (<30 years old) are encouraged to apply or
- A minimum of 2 years relevant working experience in the telecommunications sector.
- Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s from a reputable university with a minimum CGPA of 3.00 in the following subjects:
- Information Technology (IT) / Computer Science.
- Data Communications and Networking.
- Law.
- Engineering (Priority for Electrical / Communications / Mechanical).
- Economic.
- Statistic / Mathematics.
- Possess good attitude and passionate to work in MCMC.
